I'm interested in hearing how certain 3DS and Wii U games have now adapted to their eShops being shut down. While many games will give you something of an error message when you try to micro-transact, Rusty's Real Deal Baseball will let you "buy" the games in-game (without letting you play them) to advance the story, while not letting you buy them in real life. It makes for an interesting gameplay-story disintegration.
