For the rest of your life, you’ll never stop paying attention to that staple price if you’ve been food insecure.

A lot of people (and I concur) say that going from poor to rich happens the first time you don’t check the grocery bill total when you’re getting cashed out to make sure you can afford it. I’m fortunate enough to be in that place.

But I still always notice the price of eggs.
