Yes. I may not have been clear. I know it works for single-sig. I just wouldn't use it for that.
It's definitely better than your keys just living on the phone or other internet connected device, but I prefer a signing device that I can see on screen what I am signing for to make sure it matches what my wallet software says.
In a multi-sig, I can have one or two devices in the quorum that don't have this ability, such as the tap-signer, and then have at least one device that I can see the transaction I am signing on the screen.
