I really do not like the less compact new advanced UI of #Mastodon. I only have 1,920 pixels of width on each of my displays, and about 200 of those are taken up by tree style tabs.

I used to be able to see 6 columns including the one where I would compose new posts. Now I only see about 4⅓ columns.

I can only imagine how much worse this looks on smaller displays.

Not everybody has 1440p or 4K displays. I would like to make my columns narrower again please.
