I used to collect old video games in the 2000's when FuncoLand was still around and people were selling NES games for a buck, but I ended up selling all my games in the 2010's when everything got stupidly expensive because I got annoyed with the prices and I already had a great setup for emulation. It looks incredibly annoying to buy these physical games for Switch because most of the third party games seem to get super limited releases that get bought up by resellers so they can jack up the price. I was thinking about getting a copy of Persona 3 Portable for my niece but I think people were selling it for over 100$ so I was like nope no thanks lol. I didn't know they even did "reprints" or whatever, but that would be cool so other people can actually get the games for a fair price.
