👍 gotcha. I got a bit trapped between conversations there. Fediverse user interface isn't all that clear.
My question was, badly stated. It was if the Amish/Amish-ish communities who did settle in the US and who still use their particular branches of German/Dutch/whatever they regionally call it still use the umlauts or more British ou vowel spellings or if they were more American vowel trends
