I have a Wahl Peanut trimmer #8685 with a US plug and it doesn't list whether it supports EU power ratings. I have an unpowered adapter and I want to shave but am not sure if it supports 240v

I wont plug it in until I get some reassurance it wont do anything bad but damn this seems like such a silly standardization issue we should have solved by now.
