During her press conference where she acted all emotional and cried, your premier stated that the big cuts to firefighting happened before she became premier and that since that, spending on fighting fires has increased ( but one can argue that these increases are just due to having more fires requring more man-hours instead of increasing actual budget)
Does the province contribute to town of Jasper's firefighting budget, or does it all come from municipal taxes + Parks Canada?
