You do not need to have watched much of the MCU to understand what is happening. Anything that is referenced from other projects is quickly explained aloud in a single sentence, because none of the other characters were there for those events either! It's honestly a great movie for people like my wife who has also not watched every single MCU show \u0026 film, lol.
