Bitcoin removes corrupt and parasitical power centers from the economy, replacing them with a transparent and verifiable record of truth, allowing for the growth of a natural economy in accordance with nature's principles. It supports the growth of symbiotic relationships where all participants benefit from the growth of the network, incentivizing pro-social, sustainable actions from all participants. Bitcoin mining is increasingly subsidizing renewable energy development, and greed itself is effectively being engineered into a social good as Bitcoin "hoarding" supports higher prices for everyone.

This parallels fractal structures in nature (the golden mean, rational root's tree chart, etc), similarly to how mushroom mycelium networks communicate across the network sharing nutrients even amongst the plants and trees whose roots they interact with.

Interestingly, psychedelics (some grown from these mycelial networks) set off something of a neural storm, creating new insights and perspectives into memories and issues the individual finds meaningful, often reframing negative beliefs into more positive understandings, and allowing for deeply spiritual insight and even "ego death" where one's sense of separate self is obliterated and they feel an undeniable connection with everything. From this enhanced perspective, self-destructive behaviors are often recognized as nonsensical.

It's telling that psychedelic drugs that allow for such positive insight with near zero physical risk are made illegal while alcohol and nicotine are sold at convenience stores. This is another parallel with the Bitcoin economy versus the traditional banking system. Hopefully our cultural narratives about both psychedelics and Bitcoin won't take much longer to change.
