I was recently asked what the price of a candy bar would be with full bitcoin adoption.
Mathematically, with roughly $900 trillion in store of value assets that can/will eventually be put into into Bitcoin, and assuming all 21 million coins have been issued, and with an average candy bar price of about $1.50 in today's dollars, that would make a conservative estimate of the cost 1 candy bar only about 4 sats each. 😳
The real question, though, is this: With full bitcoin adoption, and the lowering of time preference that comes with it, would there be any candy bars at all? 🤯🤔
