A place I used to work, the boss *loved* D-Link NAS's. And the boss was a firm believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Never patched devices & systems. The only reason any client's systems got updated was *me*.
I can guarantee you as long as the drives are still spinning, those clients will still have these in use. Possibly internet facing.
