I didn’t even know that there was a word for what I was until I was an adult and read “non-binary” on the internet, and it was like I for once wasn’t “wrong” in the universe.
And today seeing people talking about trans and nonbinary people as “identity politics”… it’s really sad.
We always existed. We’re not new. Is it so much to ask to just be allowed to exist without hiding?
