i have played like 1 set with mixxx and i already have suggestions. there’s more of course but like, almost nothing has this and i do not understand why
quoting note1g0q…uhlui dream of the day i have enough energy in me to both DJ and start writing a DJ software that puts library management first
like, if i’m mixing, why shouldn’t there be a view that’s sorted (with adjustable weighting) by how closely tracks match in tempo, key, and the energy in each frequency bin assigned to the EQ knobs (perhaps displayed as color gradients)?
why shouldn’t i be able to add any number of tags to a track, to link those that go well together, to have separate cue points for each of those pairs, and to associate whatever crazy-ass script actions i can write to them?
why is everyone so paradigm-locked into the concept of digital vinyl crates?
