Today, 211,350 active Fediverse users across 386 counted servers have or plan to block #Threads.
My generation (Z) has already been experimented on for profit by #Meta through Instagram and Facebook without care for the mental damage it would cause us. We famously struggle with short attention spans, depression, and anxiety.
Their business is to capture our attention then expose it to whichever advertiser/propagandist bids the most.
I urge all other server admins to sign the #FediPact and #Fediblock Meta. There's VALUE in maintaining the Fediverse's reputation as a volunteer network free of corporate manipulative influence. We must grow without their toxicity.
