I recall seeing some ads on youtube a while back that I *think* were for WP Engine and I remember thinking "wow, those guys really seem to be trying to present themselves as being the folks who make wordpress when they're not". It sounds like WordPresses way of responding was overboard, but I don't get what their ban entails. Like they can't ban them from downloading and using the code right? What resources did WordPress.org provide that they've banned WP Engine from?
