I think “changing peoples’ minds is better and harder than blaming them for their choices” is a coward’s take. It denies people agency and is designed to let people avoid consequences.

If you are okay hanging out at a Nazi bar to drink and laugh with your friends, that is a choice you are making. Own that choice. You can make different choices. Nobody is forcing you to be there. Your protests that you “aren’t that type of person” are nonsense because you very clearly are by being there.
