Just out of curiosity, why do people choose to use bookmarking apps, such as Hoarder, Wallabag and others instead of just using the bookmarking feature within your browser?

You have to use the browser to view the bookmark itself, correct? So why use an external app when your browser can do it for you all in one place?

I ask since I just saw npub17zh6djh8zkj5v897rrdujgcdjh0zmcnqhk8mn4qle2chy6zqcg9sr6ugzj (npub17zh…ugzj) installed Hoarder and has started using it.

Just genuinely curious as to the reason, pros, cons, advantages, whatever.
