I actually met Vegas shooter on July 6, 2016 at the Excalibur in Las Vegas playing Blackjack. He bitterly complained about casinos cheating and wanting revenge. When I said “they’ll have you before you get ten feet on the floor” he shouted “Look all around you! Whaddaya see?! Windows!!” pointing at the ceiling. I knew what he meant but figured he was a nut plus vague threat. Only when I saw someone else had similar experience did I tell FBI. They had zero interest in gambling as motive.
