You can tell by the dark dots going from beak to throat—in time, this will turn into the red iridescent gorget of the adult male. It’s likely you had a pair in your yard to start with and now you have their hummingbird babies zooming around. Here in Indiana, our hummingbird babies start to appear at the feeder around the first week in August.",
