It's not just Musk. It's a whole set of super-rich men (for the most part, albeit with cheerleading wealthy women) who have inordinate power now to break democracy – and appear determined to do just that.
And it's just these economic elites. It's also the large number of Americans whose information base is so limited that they cannot see the danger these elites pose — to those very citizens enabling them.
