#WritersCoffeeClub 11Jan—Do you write or imagine a backstory for your secondary characters, or do they pop into existence as required?
Writing backstories for characters is how I got into this whole writing thing in the first place. 😅
I don’t write backstories as much these days, even for MCs. They reveal themselves as the story unfolds—some eagerly, others are more shy—and I love that.
I do have a document where I note important characteristics for all recurring characters—MC and SC alike.
