This kind of social and economic planning is something we are extremely bad at. I'm not suggesting a revolution, just the *option* of modes of organization that aren't built around the paradigm of "design web app, sell to big company get rich"-- People can still do that if they want.
But, what if there were other options? Build a strong community, open it to self governance. Watch it thrive forever if the culture you have nurtured there is a good one?
Some kind of 501c3 democratic trust...
