Years ago, I stumbled upon a little strawberry farm in rural Taiching, Taiwan. A lone man was sitting at a stall on the roadside, selling the fresh-picked strawberries from his tiny field.

I bought a small box, carried them back to the hotel, and devoured them. They were probably some of the sweetest, most flavorful strawberries I've had in my life.

People aren't kidding when they talk about 'farm-to-table' being the best!
