Yes i will have to. My main reasoning for not doing this was to avoid the situations where other clients had a hardcoded relay set, with their contact list elsewhere. I didn't Damus overwriting their contact list to 0 following.
I will likely need a warning when you follow someone: "you are about to create a new contact list and overwrite any previous ones, are you sure you want to continue"
