My partner’s parents’ neighbor has a neurotic rooster. Three nights ago, he started to screech at 4:50 AM and woke me up, so I was joking that “if he keeps that up, someone is going to turn him into tacos!”

We went back there last night and it was eerily quiet, so I went to bed worrying that maybe he did end up in a pot of pozole or something… then got a startling wake-up rooster scream at 4:40 AM 😂 Maldita sea!
