As I think about DS9, it seems like the entire setup of the show is that the Prophets knew they would need a defender against the Pah-Wraiths, so they just used time and space to create one. (And, unlike most Chosen Ones, they had a plan that he would just become one of them instead of being discarded.)
Doesn’t that make Jake 1/4 Prophet? Was that NEVER discussed? Does that explain the episode in which he changes 70 years of history?
