That's a big chunk of what I did in this article and I fully get your meaning. Since writing it I've pivoted away from that pitch because I know it's temporary. A huge part of what has kept Twitter popular is its propensity for controversy.
Controvery will be a double edged sword for nostr, but if we are ready to enable users to have control over what they see, controversy should be a net benefit. A lot needs to be done before we get there imo. A malicious reply guy, for example, would be a very easy attack.
This is why I don't focus on purple pilling normies. Not everyone will be able to stomach the growth process for nostr. Bitcoiners will.
