At an event in Amsterdam once, a white woman asked me "how do I draw black people?" Yet I'm not an artist and we had just been discussing fiction books. My humble reply was "I don't know how to answer that question" and then someone in the audience jumped in and breathed fire at the woman (don't even remember what she said but it was fire) and I could only smile.
