It is interesting how we destroyed our own moral standing in the world with Iraq, and before that weakened it with Vietnam... But only through mostly our own inaction has it been gained back.
Some few decades ago we were ruthlessly bombing Vietnam, and a few weeks ago we were docking the USS Ronald Reagan at their port because they see China as a bigger threat than the country that committed such evil towards them.
