I'm uncomfortable with a legal penalty that prevents Trump from running for president. He can run from prison. (Or to be realistic under house arrest, because we don't have a justice system that treats the rich the same as the rest of us.)

Barring someone from running is an appropriate charge for planning to steal votes.

But, if *any* Republican wins they will pardon him where possible, & keep pushing for permanent minority rule. Making it about him? Overlooks that an entire party is broken.
