I've had some folks assume that I must have it pretty well, because I try to stay positive and talk a lot about things that seem socially acceptable. It's a serious mistake to confuse hyperlexia and social acceptance of (some) of my special interests for "not needing support".
lol, i'm a fucking mess and my life is a bit of a disaster in slow motion. I just mask really well and it's a drain. i also have a stubborn nature and i refuse to let society win.
