Very annoying and disappointing to discover that WordPress (dot com) will not allow me to embed Mastodon posts, Pixelfed posts, or PeerTube posts, presumably because raw HTML iframes could be risky there ... I should probably move my blog elsewhere, but it has been there for so long... I tried to embed all of these in my most recent post, looked fine in editor preview, silently discarded when I hit publish, with zero warning! Bad UX #fediverse
