If five years of constant nagging from the OS vendor hasn't got me to switch off of Windows 8.1, what makes the vendors of software like Chrome and Discord think that annoying me with constant intrusive pop-up banners will somehow move that needle?
"Oh, I know Microsoft thinks I should sacrifice my computer to their latest adware platform, but now that Discord wants me to, maybe I'll consider it." Yeah....no.
