I was doing some research on new computers (which I'm in the market for right now) and found that 40 years ago, the computer I had (Tandy Coco) had a grand total of 512 KB memory and cost more than a top rated Alienware computer of now-which has 64 gigs of RAM!
Coco: US $399 (equivalent to $1,480 in 2023)
Alienware Aurora R16 $1,385 with up to 8 TB of SSD space.
