lucy :lucyinsidegoogly: era (nprofile…0fkk) Yep I do. There are around 50 or so banana plants in my farm, of 3 varieties. One is the normal banana, another one is short and hard, slightly tastes of an apple, we call them "píldoros" (pills). And the other one is a kind of banana used for cooking. It's kinda like a potato, we call them "platanos". It's great for soups and as snack when fried when unripe, and also very sweet when cooked or grilled if ripe, I love it.
The terms are very fluid however and mean different things depending on the country. I discovered this the hard way when I went to Peru.
