Fairphone doesn't provide proper security patches which impacts every operating system on it but that's hardly relevant to /e/OS where basic security is not kept intact and patches aren't shipped in a timely or complete way even when available.

You'd be far better off with an iPhone and Advanced Data Protection (E2EE) for iCloud than a highly insecure OS on a low security device with non-E2EE services.
