I'm making red bean paste for filling steamed buns. Adzuki beans duly soaked and cooked, so I set to pureeing them with my stick blender. I remembered not to turn it on except when safely under the surface for *almost* the whole time.
As I said to Roger when he came in for afternoon tea,
"And that's why I've changed my top."
Not to mention cleaned up the kitchen bench.
Fortunately most of the mixture survived in its bowl.
