The plane nerd in me is fascinated with this story. Sounds like authorities are already attributing the accident to aquaplaning, but looking at that video, I think that's a pretty premature conclusion. I'm sure they must have evidence to conclude water is a factor, but runways are supposed to be designed to enable water run-off. Also the plane takes a full 8 seconds from the start of the runway to actually touch down. Leaving it pretty late.
