In case any of you missed it, incoming US President Donald Trump is still making a big joke about annexing Canada as the 51st state. Except it's not much of a joke when it comes from the world's largest military power, which will be led by a man who has supported both the annexation of Ukraine and the occupation of Palestine. Then it becomes a threat. Freeland claims to have left cabinet because Trudeau wasn't taking the threat of Trump seriously enough. I hope she's not right.
