It's depressing how much transformative art exists in society that many people will just never know (or will have never known) of because corporations have been progressively taking more and more control over what we "should" consume.
Art (and thus, artists!) holds a hell of a lot of power that the corporate elite is afraid of independent individuals actually wielding.
