Bluesky cosplays as decentralized, nostr actually is. Bluesky is in theory an open protocol, but it's not actually fully spec'd and you can't run your own bluesky server. And even if you could, they run all the servers currently. Nostr has zaps, bluesky doesn't. Bluesky has one client, nostr has hundreds. Bluesky is just a twitter clone, nostr is a protocol that acts as a backbone for many apps (twitter clone, insta clone, tiktok clone, etc)
