salty_apollyon (npub1z06…7fpu) i disliked it at first. the writing is super simplistic and kinda stupid and all the powers feel like asspulls. its really grown on me though, specially after the train movie. i still think its shonenslop but its not too bad. its carried hard visually, the industrial JP aesthetics are great while urban slop like JJK and CSM still makes me gag, not to mention those seem to be in a competition to see how depressing they can be while DS always breaks it up with sweet moments and comedic relief. comparatively i think MHA went to shit after just 2 seasons. we'll see how it ends how it ends but so far its my pick for this generations best shonen for the aesthetics alone.
