I really want to continue to use the built-in mail app on macOS but it seems Apple really doesn't want me to. Struggling with the inbox completely freezing/not marking mail as read, or not refreshing unless I quit the app and reopen...other sync issues...It's really frustrating.

I think, I may need to swing back over to Outlook unfortunately until this stuff gets sorted out which I can't imagine is anytime soon since some of these issues have been around for a while.
