If you've followed my work, you'll note that I talk a lot about big old #trees.

These trees are natural, national monuments. They are a part of our history & heritage.

There are ancient trees near me that have been growing since before the Battle of Hastings.

Sadly, there is little protection under UK law.

An ancient oak tree is able to support more than 2000 species of wildlife & plant life. They are biodiversity goldmines.

They should be protected.
