To make it more fun, a sign at the checkout said "surcharge 1.5% paywave only". Guess what, dear readers, there was a surcharge for credit card, not just paywave.
Sadly, I didn't get a photo of the sign, but will go back another day to see if it was been replaced as they assured me they would.
