It feels like ChatGPT has hit this huge tipping point. Everybody seems to be referencing it in some way or another.
I just had a conversation with someone about its political bias. It's interesting because I think the term "artificial intelligence" gives the impression that the program basically replicates human logic to the most efficient extent possible. But I don't believe a political bias is to be logical at all; I think it's irrational and emotional - otherwise there would be no disagreement, right?
There's a lot to think about and tear into on this topic, the most important of which is that we do not godify computers beyond reproach.
