Least with my grandpas spanish side of the family their location, in the center of the country, makes sense since they were just spanish immigrants who had been around for a while, long enough to have important positions in the local government
i could ask my grandpa more about them but im not sure he would know their exact origins, even tho he knows about the indigenous side of his family, tho not a lot
