I've had to leave one of my freelance clients after refusing to put my name as an editor to a text that classified Crimea as a Russian region and referred to Russia-installed health authorities there without using qualifiers such as "Russia-installed" or "Russia-imposed" (i.e. implicitly recognising them as official). Something small that matters hugely in the global context. No regrets at all, I did the right thing, but am open to commissions/part-time editing work again! #Ukraine #Russia
