Budapest, 1958. I love this very Budapest photo. A couple, dressed in clothes more common in rural areas, stand on the Danube’s Pest embankment opposite the Gellert Hill topped with its distinctive Statue of Liberty. She has a basket, he has a satchel. We once had an apartment near this very spot, and I too would spend hours in gazing at this view, happy as Larry.
